Voting rights groups sue to block new Ohio elections law

COLUMBUS — The sweeping elections law sponsored by state Sens. Theresa Gavarone (R., Bowling Green) and Andrew Brenner (R., Delaware) violates the National Voter Registration Act and the 14th Amendment’s due process clause, voting rights groups argue in a lawsuit filed in federal court on Friday.
