Volunteers pack 5,000 backpacks for students

In just 43 minutes, nearly 1,000 volunteers filled 5,000 backpacks for local schoolchildren Thursday morning at United Way of Greater Toledo’s largest philanthropic event ever, Kick-Off to Caring 2016.
