USS Toledo commissioned

We mean that in a good way, given that on Feb. 25, 1995, the USS Toledo fast-attack submarine was commissioned at the U.S. Naval Submarine Base in New London, Conn. Weighing 6,900 tons and armed with Tomahawk missiles, the 300-foot-long, nuclear-powered vessel pictured in the 2014 Blade archive photo above, became the 57th of an eventual 62 Los Angeles-class subs in the U.S. Navy fleet.
