UM rally falls short in Orange Bowl

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — Moments before kickoff, Florida State’s iconic mascots, Osceola, a make-believe Seminole chief, and his Appaloosa horse, Renegade, stormed onto the Hard Rock Stadium turf in dramatic fashion. Only Renegade lost his footing and tumbled backward, leaving Osceola and a flaming spear on the turf.
