Trump wins widest Ohio margin since 1988

Republican Donald Trump’s victory in Ohio over Democrat Hillary Clinton — 52 percent to 43.5 percent, based on unofficial results — was the widest margin of victory for a presidential candidate in Ohio since 1988 when Republican George H.W. Bush beat Democrat Michael Dukakis by 55 percent to 44.1 percent.
