Tracing Ohio’s canals: a trip through history

A piece of American history winds all throughout Ohio: the series of canals built in the 1800s to move crops and livestock from the interior of Ohio to East Coast markets. I explored one of those routes, and the trip was most enjoyable, matching good roads, pleasant scenery, and some history.
