Toledo offers help to nonprofits on grants

Toledo officials Wednesday said they will work with local nonprofit organizations that have not yet received U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development compensation for the current fiscal year. The Trump administration now requires nonprofits receiving Community Development Block Grants and Emergency Solutions Grants to provide daily activities logs for their staff who are paid with HUD money, effective July 1, 2017, the beginning of the fiscal year, city officials said.
