Thunderstorms knock out power to thousands

 Thursday afternoon thunderstorms brought straight-line wind gusts of up to 74 mph to Northwest Ohio, downing trees and power lines, knocking out electricity for thousands and sending at least one man — a golfer stuck on the course when a falling branch crushed his cart — to the hospital.
