Thomas E. 'Big Tom' Hertzfeld, Sr. (1937-2017)

Thomas E. “Big Tom” Hertzfeld, Sr., who guided the poultry business founded by his parents as it became a leading egg producer, died Friday in his Providence Township home, about a quarter mile from where he grew up. He was 79.
