The Blade's weekly fishing report: 7-29

■ Lake Erie: The fishing professors at Netcraft report an uptick in the walleye action on the big lake, with the best fishing found northwest of West Sister Island. There has also been plenty of walleye landed around the “F” and “G” cans of the Camp Perry firing range. Anglers have been connecting with fish by casting worm harnesses or trolling spoons and crawler harnesses.
