The 14th Amendment
Every U.S. citizen is afforded equal protection under the law and the right of due process under section one of the 14th Amendment. It specifically enforces civil liberties and civil rights of American citizens. It protects the idea of birthright citizenship and also promotes equality and nondiscriminatory practices.
