Testing begins near sunken barge

KELLEYS ISLAND -- A Coast Guard contractor is expected to start taking deep samples of Lake Erie's bottom near a sunken petroleum barge after analysis of a surface sheen identified "significantly weathered, degraded" oil, a spokesman said today.
