TARTA tax plan to get second try next year

After failing to do so this year, the Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority will strive to get its proposal to replace its local property tax with a Lucas Countywide sales tax on a ballot sometime in 2018, the authority’s top executive told a community transit forum Monday evening.
