Summer’s heat takes last gasp as fall weather waits to arrive

While schools’ reopening marked the symbolic end of summer for Michigan schoolchildren Tuesday, Mother Nature wasn’t playing along either there or in northwest Ohio, where most students have been back in classrooms for several weeks now.
