Studying high blood pressure

What happens when you try to squeeze the spout of a garden hose that is turned on full blast? The pressure of water flowing out of the hose increases as you narrow the water passageway inside the hose, causing water to jet out of the hose even faster. If you keep squeezing the hose while water is flowing, that high water pressure will damage the hose.
