Students pack it in for kindergartners

Springfield High students, from left, Nermin Aburidi, Franklin Barrios, and Ryan Gerbitz unpack children’s school supplies like glue and scissors that were donated by Walmart and put them into pencil cases for new kindergartners who will be joining Springfield Local Schools this year. The students, who were working in the Springfield Board of Education building Tuesday, are part of a group called Students In Action.
