Strickland raises nearly $3 million in third quarter for senate bid

Democratic former Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland’s campaign for the U.S. Senate election on Nov. 8 raised $2.9 million in the third quarter, leaving him with $1.4 million cash on hand for the final five-week sprint to the election, according to the campaign’s Federal Election Commission report.
