Strickland, Portman debate issues at The Blade

Sitting next to each other in a paneled conference room at The Blade, Ohio’s two U.S. Senate candidates — Democrat Ted Strickland and Republican Rob Portman — debated policy and political issues Thursday without the bitter edge found in their campaign advertising.
