Strickland closes in but still trailing Portman in poll

COLUMBUS — Democratic former Gov. Ted Strickland closed in a bit on Republican U.S. Sen. Rob Portman in the latest Quinnipiac Poll released Tuesday, but the incumbent is still sitting on a comfortable 13-point lead.
