St. John’s escapes Elyria’s push, advances

Fifth-ranked St. John’s Jesuit survived its own poor free-throw shooting and a late furious rally by Elyria on Wednesday night, and escaped with a 48-47 victory in a Division I boys basketball regional semifinal at University of Toledo’s Savage Arena.
