Sketching classes turn the birding experience into art

During the Biggest Week in American Birding festival, avian artist Catherine Hamilton conducted a pair of four-hour workshops on the field observation and sketching of birds. Hamilton met with the workshop participants at the Maumee Bay State Park Nature Center and then provided them with instruction in an indoor classroom followed by sketching work in the field.
