Senate summons justice before lawmakers

In a move unprecedented in modern history, the Ohio Senate on Wednesday ordered a sitting state Supreme Court justice to appear before lawmakers to show cause why he shouldn't be immediately removed from office. Justice William O'Neill, the sole Democrat on the bench, has looked and talked a lot like a candidate for governor, even setting forth a policy platform and picking a running mate.
