■ ST. PATRICK’S day is Friday, and pubs will open early for breakfast of green eggs and ham, bacon, sausages, potatoes and maybe some bubble and squeak, drisheen (pudding), and Irish soda bread. Of course, beer goes without saying for the hardy revelers.
