Roy S. Swartz: 1925-2017

JOHNSON’S ISLAND, Ohio — Roy S. Swartz, a teacher and then principal in the Fostoria school system who volunteered to preserve a historic Civil War landmark in Sandusky Bay, died Saturday in Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton. He was 91.
