Rita Gibson (1936-2016): Teacher focused on reading help at Springfield

Rita Gibson, an alumna of what became the Springfield school district who taught for more than a quarter-century in its elementary schools, died Monday in ProMedica St. Luke’s Hospital in Maumee. She was 80.
