Richard J. Cherry (1931-2016)

Richard J. Cherry, who fought in the Korean War and spoke out for veterans as an American Legion commander — both of his post and for the state — and was a trustee of the Ohio Veterans’ Home in Sandusky, died Tuesday in St. Clare Commons, Perrysburg. He was 84.
