Richard 'Dick' Holmes

Richard "Dick" Holmes, who started a wholesale medical supply company that under his children's leadership now employs 120 people, including about a dozen of his descendants, died Sunday in ProMedica Toledo Hospital. He was 86 and suffered from kidney failure and diabetic-related complications, said his son Bob, who is president of Lake Erie Wholesale Medical Supply Inc. Mr. Holmes of West Toledo worked in pharmaceutical sales for about 40 years.
