Regional jail to cut beds, employees

STRYKER, Ohio — The Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio will go from housing 638 prisoners to a 410-bed facility, and 25 jail employees will lose their jobs following the city of Toledo’s withdrawal from the jail by intentionally defaulting on its third-quarter bill.
