Protest over Dakota Access pipeline hits downtown Toledo
About 40 people angrily shouted and carried signs tonight in front of the Government Center in downtown Toledo against the sending of Ohio Highway Patrol troopers to provide security for pipeline protests of the Dakota Access pipeline. Tina Wagner, 36, of Toledo created a Facebook page last week to host the protest in support of the Sioux Tribe at Standing Rock and for the 37 Ohio Highway Patrol troopers to return home from their assignment in North Dakota.
