Prep tournaments: Maumee baseball ousts power Defiance

HAMLER — After two rain postponements, Maumee held on late to eliminate two-time defending Division II state baseball champion Defiance on Saturday, taking a 4-3 victory against the Bulldogs in a district semifinal at Patrick Henry High School.
