Plan hastens lead notification

While America remains aghast over the fallout and historic regulatory breakdown that allowed thousands of Flint, Mich., residents to ingest lead-laced tap water for nearly two years, Toledo officials stand behind Gov. John Kasich’s plan for quicker notification of any additional problems with lead that might arise in the wake of an incident in eastern Ohio.
