‘Pete’s Dragon’ delivers plenty of magic

In this lackluster movie season of superheroes and super villains, giants, aliens, talking animals, paranormalists, a super spy, and a starship crew, it’s an orphaned boy named Pete and his beloved furry green dragon who save the summer.
