Ohio sues gypsum mine owner for costs to stabilize Route 2

GYPSUM, Ohio — The state of Ohio has sued the United States Gypsum Co. to recover $16.77 million it spent last decade to stabilize abandoned mines under State Rt. 2 east of Port Clinton.
