O-I profits increase 17% in 3Q

Perrysburg-based Owens-Illinois Inc. on Monday reported a third quarter profit of $126 million, or 76 cents a share, an increase of 17 percent over a year ago when its net earnings were $108 million, or 66 cents a share.
