Notre Dame edges Whitmer in OT in D-I playoffs

Senior guards Bre Hampton-Bey and Mariah Copeland each hit two free throws in the final 1:43 of overtime today to lift Notre Dame to a 52-49 victory over Whitmer in the Division I girls district basketball championship game at Central Catholic's Sullivan Center.
