New lead plan an improvement

Toledo's lead-safe ordinance is not going away, and since the city is revising its plan to accommodate concerns of landlords and tenants, it's time for everyone to buy into the program, which will protect the city's children. Mayor Paula Hicks-Hudson and city council have acknowledged their first attempt at a lead-safe ordinance wasn't going to work.
