Nearing 84, Murphy keeps bass at his side

A few months ago, Toledo jazz great Clifford Murphy developed a serious infection in his right foot. After an amputation of that foot and part of his leg up to the knee in October, the 83-year-old diabetic was just able to return to his Monroe Street home last month.
