Mill-and-fill program under way

Lupe Mareno, in the backhoe, and Robert Lawecki with the city’s division of streets, bridges, and harbor clear milled pavement on Gilhouse Road in West Toledo. City Council allocated $700,000 this year for its mill-and-fill program, which began Monday in District 5. City officials have not yet finalized a list of streets to be fixed elsewhere.
