Michigan Sugar acquires cane refiner in Taylor, Toledo

Following a major investment in December across its four plants, Michigan Sugar Co. is acquiring the assets of Taylor-based AmCane Sugar LLC in a move to broaden the cooperative's product offerings and meet demand for organic sugars.
