MBT profit higher in 3rd quarter

MONROE — MBT Financial Corp ., the parent company of Monroe Bank & Trust Co., announced this week a third quarter profit of $3 million, or 13 cents a share, up from $1.7 million, or 8 cents a share for the same period a year ago.
