Mayor submits $252.12M budget proposal

Mayor Paula Hicks-Hudson today released her proposed general fund budget for next year, which she balanced by nearly doubling what Toledoans pay for monthly trash collection, pushing back the hiring of any new police officers and firefighters, and taking more than $10 million from the pot of money used for road repair.
