Mayor names 7 as monitors of how Issue 2 money spent

Mayor Paula Hicks-Hudson has appointed seven people so far — including the former University of Toledo interim president and a high-ranking union official — to the committee tasked with monitoring how the city’s 1 percent temporary income tax will be spent if it’s approved by voters Tuesday.
