Mary Edith Campbell (1931-2017)

IDA, Mich. — Mary Edith Campbell, who founded the Monroe County Program for the Hearing Impaired in the Ida Public Schools and advocated for special-education access for public school students for her entire career, died Jan. 5 in the Wellspring Lutheran Services nursing home in Monroe. She was 85.
