Mark B. Welker (1921-2017)

Mark B. Welker, a Waite High School student athlete who played on a state championship football team and returned to his alma mater as a longtime faculty member — coaching the baseball team to multiple titles — died Tuesday in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, South Toledo. He was 95.
