Marathon second quarter profit falls from 2016

FINDLAY — Marathon Petroleum Corp. on Thursday reported second quarter net income of $515 million, or $1 per share, a 36 percent decrease from a year ago when the oil refiner and marketer had a quarterly profit of $801 million, or $1.51 a share.
