Marathon Petroleum Corp. reports rise in first-quarter profit

FINDLAY — Marathon Petroleum Corp. today reported a first-quarter profit of $30 million, or 6 cents per share, up significantly from a year ago when its earnings were just $1 million, or less than one cent per share.
