Marathon lays off 46 in Texas

HOUSTON — As the U.S. refiners cope with a surge in demand for diesel fuel, Marathon Petroleum Corp. of Findlay laid off 46 salaried employees on Tuesday at the company’s Galveston Bay Refinery in Texas.
