Marathon forms panel to examine spinoff idea

FINDLAY — After initially brushing off a suggestion from a major shareholder to consider spinning off or selling its Speedway retail stores, Marathon Petroleum Corp. said Tuesday it will form a committee with outside experts to look at the proposal.
