Man pleads to reduced charges in shooting

A Toledo man charged with conspiracy to commit murder pleaded no contest Monday to reduced charges for shooting a man who had been acquitted in the murder of his family member. Lorenzen Self, 30, of the 1200 block of Page Street pleaded no contest in Lucas County Common Pleas Court to aggravated assault with a firearm specification and attempted retaliation for the July 17, 2016 drive-by shooting of Osha Carter on Central Avenue near Elm Street.
