Man indicted on assault charge in death

A North Toledo man arrested and charged in connection with the Dec. 21 shooting death of Martel Miller was indicted Wednesday for felonious assault, but not for murder. A Lucas County grand jury indicted Jonathon Shelton, 20, of the 800 block of North Ontario Street on two counts of felonious assault with a firearm specification and one count each of discharge of a firearm over a highway and receiving stolen property.
